Listservs are one way to easily communicate with a group of people using email. You can send mail to the listserv and the mail is automatically forwarded to everyone signed up for that group.
The UAWeb listserv provides an easy way for University of Arizona webmasters to communicate with each other and share information.
Subscribe to the Listerv:
To subscribe to a list, send email to listserv@listserv.arizona.edu with the following as the only line in the body of the message:
end
The word 'end' will tell the Listserv system to disregard all lines in your message that follow. This will stripe out any email signatures since the Listserv system does not know who to interpret anything beyond a its limited set of commands.
Sending to the List:
Once you are added to the listserv, you can send email to everyone on the list by using the email address: uaweb@listserv.arizona.edu
Searchable Archives:
Search past discussions on the UA Webmasters Discussion listserv. Before submitting a question to the list, it is always a good idea to check the archives to see if your question has already been answered.
