Presentation

John King – How to Control Access to Nodes and Sell Access to Content Using Ubercart and NodeAccess

Q: How is the content grouped?

A: Each course is a book.

Q: Do you need a role for each course?

A: Yes, unfortunately.

If you delete a nodeaccess-controlled node’s owner, anonymous user will have edit and delete privileges for that node!

Q: What other Ubercart product features can you have?

A: Unknown

Q: What was the process for setting up merchant accounts?

A: You have to contact Robbyn Lennon. She’ll give you login info and a merchant account number. You have to install an hop.php file in sites/all/libraries.

Q: Do you have to meet minimum security requirements?

A: Robbyn’s office (FSO) contracts with SecurityMetrics to run the scans. Using a hosted order page (like with CyberSource) makes it easy to pass the scan.

Q: Is anyone developing a Drupal 7 version of Ubercart?

A: No Drupal Commerce is intended to replace it.
